Major Moscow's Strikes Disrupt Power In Kyiv

Energy infrastructure targeted in Ukraine
The country's energy systems have come under escalating strikes in recent weeks

Throughout the evening, Moscow's aerial assaults have resulted in power cuts in extensive areas of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were hurt while residents in eastern neighborhoods were experienced blackouts and dealt with interruptions to water supplies, as stated by city officials.

At the same time, a young boy was killed in a separate Russian drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia region in the country's south-east, based on information from regional authorities.

Russian forces has increased strikes on power infrastructure over recent weeks, while Ukrainian leadership has demanded "real steps" from allies to increase pressure on Moscow.

"What's needed is not superficial actions but firm measures - from the America, Europe and the G7 - in providing protection systems and enforcing penalties," was stated in a online statement.

Authorities reported that 450 drones and several dozen missiles attacked energy facilities, labeling such assaults as "cynical and calculated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as temperatures become colder.

Government representatives said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and repair crews were working to restore power.

A barrage of missiles struck electrical systems and residential structures in the capital.

Several of the people injured in the assaults on the city have been transported for medical care, according to city authorities.

Local officials said the metropolitan region endured heavy assaults throughout the evening. A young boy lost their life and three other people were injured.

The attacks come after periods of bombing campaigns in the territory, portions of which are currently controlled by Russian forces.

All of Ukraine is in a state of readiness for sophisticated projectile assaults, which are more difficult to spot.

National leaders told journalists that Moscow was deliberately attempting to demolish the electrical infrastructure, with assaults already impacting gas facilities.

Officials stated technical personnel and government agencies were preparing for more assaults.
